BBMD
If a B/IP port is to be used as BBMD or FD, subscriptions and table records are managed from here. If a B/IP port is to be used as a foreign device, the BBMD to be subscribed can be entered from Foreign Device Settings. If the port is to be used as BBMD, other BBMDs and FDs can be viewed and managed from the Broadcast Distribution Table and Foreign Device Table.
Foreign Device Settings

- Add BBMD: Used to add a BBMD to subscribe to.
- Clear BBMDs: Clears the subscribed BBMDs.
- Refresh: Refreshes the table information.
Only one record can be entered per port. The table shows the following information:
- Which port the subscription is made from.
- Which device our port is subscribed to.
- Time to live in seconds.
- Remaining time in seconds.
When the remaining time is less than 5 seconds, a new request is sent to renew the subscription. If the remaining time reaches 0 seconds, a new subscription request is sent every 10 seconds to restart the subscription.

- Physical Port: Which port the subscription is made from. Options: Ethernet (BACnet IP 1), Wi-Fi (BACnet IP 2)
- IP Address: The IP address of the BBMD. XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (e.g., 192.168.1.2)
- Port Number: The port number of the BBMD. Valid range 47808 - 47823 and 49152 - 65535.
- Time to Live (Seconds): Our time to live value in seconds. Valid range 5 - 65535.
Broadcast Distribution Table

- Add BBMD: Used to add a peer BBMD.
- Clear BBMDs: Clears peer BBMDs.
- Refresh: Refreshes the table information.
Only ten records can be entered per port. The table shows the following information:
- Which port the peer BBMD is located on.
- The address of the peer BBMD.
- The subnet mask of the peer BBMD (used for one-hop, two-hop).

- Physical Port: Which port the peer BBMD is located on. Options: Ethernet (BACnet IP 1), Wi-Fi (BACnet IP 2)
- IP Address: The IP address of the peer BBMD. XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (e.g., 192.168.1.2)
- Port Number: The port number of the peer BBMD. Valid range 47808 - 47823 and 49152 - 65535.
- Subnet Mask: Used for the distribution method. Two-hop is a routed message targeting the peer BBMD. Use 255.255.255.255 for two-hop distribution. Any other subnet mask is used in one-hop distribution to create a direct broadcast. Depending on the router configuration, the intermediate router may reject these packets in one-hop configuration. XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (e.g., 255.255.255.255)
Foreign Device Table

- Add Foreign Device: Used to add a foreign device (do not use this method or Edit to actually add/edit foreign devices. Use only for debugging, testing, etc.).
- Clear Foreign Devices: Clears foreign devices.
- Refresh: Refreshes the table information.
Only ten records can be entered per port. The table shows the following information:
- Which port the foreign device is located on.
- The address of the foreign device.
- The time to live value of the foreign device in seconds.
- The remaining time of the foreign device in seconds.
When the remaining time reaches 0 seconds, a grace period (30 seconds) begins. If a Register Foreign Device request is not received during this time, the record for the foreign device is deleted.

- Physical Port: Which port the foreign device is located on. Options: Ethernet (BACnet IP 1), Wi-Fi (BACnet IP 2)
- IP Address: The IP address of the foreign device. XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX (e.g., 192.168.1.2)
- Port Number: The port number of the foreign device. Valid range 47808 - 47823 and 49152 - 65535.
- Time to Live (Seconds): The time to live value of the foreign device in seconds. Valid range 0 - 65535.
