License-Free Communication Band​

The ModProBus ISM842 RF Gateway operates in a license-free communication band, allowing users to establish a wireless infrastructure without paying any licensing fees.

Modbus TCP/IP and Modbus RTU Supported Input/Output Unit​

The ModProBus ISM842 RF Gateway provides wireless communication between industrial equipment through embedded Input/Output units that support Modbus protocols, and can also be used as a radio frequency remote Input/Output unit.

Automatic Data Collection​

The ModProBus ISM842 RF Gateway can collect data from other ModProBus ISM842 RF Gateway devices, PLCs, and radio frequency-connected Modbus sensors at intervals defined by the user. Optionally, this data can be transmitted to third-party software using the MQTT protocol.

Modbus Master & Slave Support​

The ModProBus ISM842 RF Gateway can collect data from various devices thanks to its Modbus Master feature, and in addition, it can be used as a remote Input/Output unit through its Modbus Slave support.

Simplified Rule Engine Support​

The ModProBus ISM842 RF Gateway can automatically collect data from user-defined devices and perform basic mathematical operations on this data. The results of these operations can be written to the device itself or to other ModProBus ISM842 RF Gateway devices. This feature allows for the activation of digital outputs based on a digital input from a different location or facilitates data transfer to an HMI panel located far from the PLC.

Communication Distance of Up to 20 km​

The ModProBus ISM842 RF Gateway enables the establishment of a wireless communication network in more remote areas thanks to the frequency stability of its radio frequency hardware.
