Hardware Installation
Please follow the steps below before powering the device:
-
The power connection diagram of the device is provided in the Power Connection section. Care should be taken with the polarity of the power connection.
-
The RS485 communication connection diagram of the device is provided in the RS485 Connection section. Incorrect connections at the communication port can cause permanent damage to the devices.
-
To use the optical isolated digital inputs on the device, the GND connection must be made to the COM input. After that, each input channel can be used by triggering it positively with 10-24 VDC. An example connection diagram is provided in the Digital Input Connection section.
-
The relay outputs on the device are in normally open (NO) and normally closed (NC) terminal form. The COM ports (CM1 and CM2) are internally connected to the terminals. When the output is activated, the terminal starts to transmit the signal from the COM port. If the required output power is higher than what the device supports, the use of external relays or contactors is recommended. An example connection diagram is provided in the Digital Output Connection section.
After this step, ensure that all cable connections are as shown in the provided diagrams, and then power the device.
If the connection is correct, the power LED will light up.
