SNMPD

For the device's SNMPD settings:

  • Services
  • SNMPD

follow the menus. The RLTK430 supports the simple SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) protocol. SNMP is used for remote monitoring and management of the device. This function is disabled by default.

  • Enable SNMP: Enables or disables the SNMP service.
  • username: The username to be used for SNMPv3.
  • auth type: Specifies the authentication type: auth, auth_enc.
  • auth mode: Specifies the authentication algorithm: SHA, MD5.
  • auth passwd: The password to be used for SNMPv3 authentication.
  • sysLocation: Specifies the physical location information of the device.
  • sysContact: Contact information for the person or organization responsible for the device.
  • sysName: The system name (hostname) of the device.
